Mom accused of killing her kids and freezing their bodies confesses in Court

A Detroit mother accused of killing two of her children and storing their bodies in a freezer yelled during separate court outbursts Thursday that she killed them.

Mitchelle Blair was temporarily removed during the custody trial to settle her parental rights to her surviving 8-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter.

She was arrested March 24 after court deputies carrying out an eviction at her apartment found the bodies of Stoni Blair, 13, and Stephen Berry, 9, in a deep freezer. Police believe they died months apart in 2012 and 2013.

Blair is charged with murder, torture and child abuse. She is to undergo a mental competency exam before a June 19 probable cause hearing in the murder cases.

As a videotape was played Thursday in court showing Blair's surviving son telling a social worker that he saw his brother get killed by their mother, Blair yelled that he "didn't see me kill Stephen, 'cause it was unintentional."

On another occasion Blair yelled: "Everybody wants to know. Yes, I did kill her," referencing Stoni.

Blair's surviving son also said in the interview with the social worker that he was whipped with a cord and that his 17-year-old sister was hit with a hammer. Both surviving siblings have been placed in a relative's care.

Thursday's trial in Wayne County Circuit Court will determine if Blair loses custody of the two children.

The state also wants to end the parental rights of their fathers.

The state says the fathers rarely see the kids and owe thousands of dollars in child support.

Caitlyn Jenner still lets the children call her Dad

The Kardashian and Jenner children have all been supportive of their Dad's transition into a woman. However, sources close to the family revealed that all Caitlyn's children are still coming to terms with their parent's decision to make a full gender transition.

The source said Caitlyn is trying to make things as easy as possible for the children including Kendall and Kylie as well as the Kardashians Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Robert and older Jenner children Cassandra, Burt, Brandon and Brody.

'Caitlyn spoke to each of the kids separately and told them to take their time in getting used to this.

'She would prefer not to be called ''Bruce,'' but told the kids that they could still call her ''Dad,'' at least for now.

'Caitlyn has been really understanding that it doesn't come naturally for anyone. No one expects this change to happen overnight. If one of the boys slips up, it's not a big deal.

What a beauty! And she was a college graduate. This is the 24 year old graduate of University of Maryland who was shot dead on Monday June 1st by her ex-boyfriend, 27 year old Donald Bricker. Mariam Folashade Adebayo broke up with Donald a few months ago but he refused to leave her alone. On the night of the murder, he'd told her to meet him so they could talk, saying he would harm himself if she didn't come. She went to see him and they began arguing in his car in a parking lot at Target. When Mariam decided she'd had enough, she got out of the car and that was when Donald followed with a gun in his hand and fired at her twice

China hacks U.S. Government, 4 Million identities compromised

China-based hackers are suspected of breaking into the computer networks of the U.S. government personnel office and stealing identifying information of at least 4 million federal workers, American officials said Thursday.

The Department of Homeland Security said in a statement that data from the Office of Personnel Management and the Interior Department had been compromised.

4 million current and former federal employees may have had their personal information hacked.
The agency, which conducts background checks, warned it was urging potential victims to monitor their financial statements and obtain new credit reports.

U.S. officials believe this could be the biggest breach ever of the government's computer networks.

"The FBI is conducting an investigation to identify how and why this occurred," the statement said.

An assessment continues and it is possible millions more government employees may be impacted.
American investigators believe they can trace the breach to the Chinese government. Hackers working for the Chinese military are believed to be compiling a massive database of Americans, intelligence.

A U.S. official, who declined to be named because he was not authorized to publicly discuss the data breach, said it could potentially affect every federal agency. One key question is whether intelligence agency employee information was stolen. Former government employees are affected as well.

"This is an attack against the nation," said Ken Ammon, chief strategy officer of Xceedium, who said the attack fit the pattern of those carried out by nation states for the purpose of espionage. The information stolen could be used to impersonate or blackmail federal employees with access to sensitive information, he said.

It is not clear what the purpose of the database is.
Employees of the legislative and judicial branches, and uniformed military personnel, were not affected.

The FBI is now investigating what exactly led to the breach.

"We take all potential threats to public and private sector systems seriously, and will continue to investigate and hold accountable those who pose a threat in cyberspace," the FBI said in a statement.
The federal personnel office said "personally identifiable information" had been breached, though didn't name who might be responsible.
