Mum who killed her own 2 kids says she feels no remorse for killing them

Remember the story about the mother who killed two of her children and left their bodies in her kitchen freezer? Well, she  has pleaded guilty to their murders saying but says she feels no remorse for killing them. She said: “I don’t feel no remorse for the death of them demons.”

Mitchelle Blair 36, of Detroit, Michigan, without remorse admitted abusing her 13-year-old daughter Stoni Blair and nine-year-old son Stephen Berry, before their deaths. The bodies of the children were discovered in a deep freezer at her apartment on May 24 when bailiffs arrived to evict her. The mother has two surviving children aged eight and 17-years-old.

As she appeared in court, Blair said she killed her children after claiming they repeatedly “gang-raped” her youngest child.

Blair however, did not report the alleged sexual abuse and never witnessed it first hand.
“She raped my son,” Blair said about Stoni. “I intentionally killed her.”
“It wasn’t an accident?” Judge Dana Hathaway asked.
“No, not at all and if I had the chance to do it again, I would,” Blair said.
“I don’t feel no remorse for the death of them demons.”
Blair said she concealed the bodies so she could take care of her surviving children “as long as possible".nStephen died in August 2012, his sister May 2013.

The mother admitted strangling Stoni and Stephen before suffocating them by putting bags over their heads until they lost consciousness.

The autopsies revealed both children were malnourished, although Blair admitted only to starving Stoni, whom she fed one bowl of porridge a day.

Blair will receive a mandatory life sentence for the murders of her children after she voluntarily pleaded guilty.

Boko Haram slit throat of 20 villagers in Borno state

Boko Haram members yesterday June 22nd stormed Debiro village in Hawul LGA of Borno state in trucks and motorcycles, burnt houses and slit the throats of 20 villagers.

A resident of the village who spoke to Sahara Reporters, on condition of anonymity said;
"It was in the afternoon time when we started hearing gunshots and people were running helter-skelter, there was confusion everywhere, some were shot dead and many had their throats slit. We were helpless as our foodstuffs were carted away by the rampaging militants who later burnt down most of the houses in our village. I can't say tell you the correct number of people killed, but at least 20 people including women had their throats slit.''

See inside the amazing luxury mansion ISIS seized from a Qatari royal family (photos)

Islamic State leaders claim to be living in luxury in a vast mansion seized from a billionaire Arab sheikh. The jihadi group’s social media sites posted photos of the spectacular mansion, under the headline: ‘A castle for the tyrants of Qatar in Palmyra’.

Aerial snapshots show sprawling gardens surrounding the mansion, in the heart of the Syrian desert. It is claimed that the Qatari royal family abandoned the villa when Isis closed in. ISIS  leaders are now said to have set up headquarters in the luxury villa. The marble floors inside the villa are the same as those at the holy mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

The villa is refered as Mozeh Palace, which was built for Emira Mozeh, the mother of the current Emir of Qatar. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

ISIS sells women & girls into sexual slavery for 'as little as a pack of cigarettes'

The United Nations envoy on sexual violence detailed Monday how Islamic State militants are selling teenage girls into sexual slavery and inflicting horrific sexual violence on female abductees.

Zainab Bangura met with women and girls in April who had escaped from areas controlled by the insurgent group, and this week talked about what she had heard.

She explained how large groups of abducted girls were kept in cramped conditions, subjected to abuse and assigned monetary value by a group of militants before being sold. In one case, a 15-year-old girl was sold off to an IS leader in his 50's who taunted her desire to commit suicide before raping her.

In some cases, teenage girls were sold in IS militant slave markets for "as little as a pack of cigarettes," said Bangura. The group continues to run this slave trade as they abduct more women and girls in the territory they take over, she explained.

Bangura's accounts are the latest in IS' well-documented history of abhorrent sexual violence against women. A Human Rights Watch report released in April documented systematic rape and forced marriage of Yazidi minority women. Women and girls who escape also face continuing trauma from their experiences, and largely lack the psychosocial support required.

Yazidi religious leader Baba Sheikh has issued repeated calls for acceptance and reintegration of survivors of IS abuse, something that Bangura praised on Monday.

The UN has repeatedly condemned the use of sexual violence by IS, with Bangura stating last month that the group has "institutionalized sexual violence and the brutalization of women as a central aspect of their ideology and operations, using it as a tactic of terrorism to advance their key strategic objectives.”

The group uses abducted women to attract young male foreign fighters who make up a significant portion of its forces, according to analysts. IS has also issued commandments and pamphlets on the proper protocol for slavery under its interpretation of Islamic Law.

Bangura stated that the exact number of women and girls enslaved by IS militants is not currently known.
